I can’t now find the reference to the dinner at the Aphrodite Restaurant in Hereford Road as I discounted it knowing I had a diary clash. It is our very nice local and somewhere which I know John Julius enjoyed once the Norwich’s moved to Moscow Road. I do hope it may become an annual event and I will be able to come another year. We have a house near Monemvasia and I got to know Paddy well over the last ten years as I visited him whenever I was out there over the last ten years and often with friends as he was so hospitable. There was nobody who was a better host and Elpida’s cooking was legendary.
