It is actually being restored by the Benaki Museum with funds from major donors. The PLF Society may be playing an advisory role but no more.
Kalamitsi is the local beach – it refers to rushes. It’s just south of Kardamili
I looked at Greek Gastronomy Guide from which the images were taken. What a lovely website with so much more information than simply food. Lots of good ideas for places to visit that are not on the well trodden tourist trail.
